Cylinder is the most important executive element, it converts the pressure energy of compressed air into mechanical energy, and the drive mechanism performs linear reciprocating, swinging and rotating motion.
Notes for use
(1) The normal working conditions of the cylinder: the medium and ambient temperature are generally -20 to 80 ºC, and the working pressure is generally 0.1 to 1.0 MPa. See the technical parameter table of various cylinders for specific conditions.
(2) Before installation, the test should be carried out at 1.5 times the working pressure, and there should be no air leakage.
(3) An oil mist device should be installed at the inlet of the installed air source to facilitate lubrication during work. Reasonable lubrication of the cylinder is extremely important. It often creeps due to poor lubrication and even fails to work normally.
(4) When installing, pay attention to the direction of action. The piston rod is not allowed to bear eccentric load or lateral load.
(5) When the load changes in the stroke, a cylinder with sufficient output power should be used, and a buffer device should be added.
(6) Do not use the full stroke, especially when the piston rod is extended, do not make the piston collide with the cylinder head. Otherwise it is easy to cause damage to parts such as piston and cylinder head.
The size of the cylinder force:
Determine the thrust and pull on the piston rod according to the force required for the work. Therefore, when selecting a cylinder, the output force of the cylinder should have a little margin. If the cylinder diameter is selected small, the output force is not enough, and the cylinder cannot work normally; but the cylinder diameter is too large, not only makes the equipment bulky and high cost, but also increases the gas consumption and causes energy waste. When designing the fixture, try to use a booster mechanism to reduce the size of the cylinder.
